Solo Competition Recordings:
For the preliminary round, all applicants must prepare a good quality recording of the required solo or tunes accompanied by piano (orchestra or band) for the classical divisions and full rhythm section (piano, bass, and drums minimum) for the jazz divisions. CD or cassette tape format is preferred. Players wishing to enter more than one division must submit separate recordings.

**A word about audition recordings:
Please remember that once your recording leaves your possession it will be the only source of information available about you to the listening committee. Bearing that in mind, please be SURE to include your name, address, phone number and E-mail address as well as title of the piece you are submitting on the recording. Take a moment to Clearly mark both the CD or tape and the container. The extra time you take doing this will be time WELL spent.

Recording Deadline is February 1, 2005.

SELECTION:

Notification to those whose recording(s) qualify in a division will be done by mail and phone by February 25. Those persons selected to compete in the semifinals and/or Finals are responsible for their own transportation to and from this event. All applicants must perform with ETW's piano accompanists or rhythm section(s).
